Step 1: Open the Image Generator From Home, scroll down to the GENERATE section. You will see three cards: Image Generator, Video Generator, and AI Character. Hover over the Image Generator card and click Try. The Image Generator workspace opens with the prompt bar at the bottom of the screen. Step 2: Set the aspect ratio to Square Click Aspect Ratio in the toolbar under the prompt bar. A list opens with four presets:
  • Story / Reel 9:16 for Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat
  • Feed Post 4:5 for Instagram and Facebook feeds
  • Square 1:1 which works in any feed
  • Landscape / YouTube 16:9 for YouTube and websites
Select Square 1:1. A checkmark appears next to it and the toolbar updates to show 1:1. Click More at the bottom of the list if you need a size that is not shown. Step 3: Set the quality to High Click Quality in the toolbar. You can choose Low, Medium, High, Extra High, or Max. Select High. This gives you sharp detail and clean edges without pushing render time up more than you need. Move to Extra High or Max only when the image is going into a print asset or a large format placement. Step 4: Choose how many variations you want Click Variations and pick the number of images you want back from one prompt. The default is 1. Raising the number gives you several different takes on the same description, which saves you from rewriting the prompt to explore a different look. Each variation uses credits, so start with one or two while you test your wording. Step 5: Write your prompt Click the prompt bar where it says “Describe the scene you imagine” and type what you want to see. Be specific about the subject, the setting, and the mood. A prompt like “create an image of my product on the beach” is enough to get started. The more detail you give about lighting, angle, and background, the closer the first result lands. Step 6: Check your model The model card sits to the left of the Generate button and shows the model currently selected, such as GPT Image 2.5 Flare. Click the card if you want to switch to a different image model before you run the prompt. Step 7: Click Generate Click the orange Generate button. The number next to the button shows how many credits the run will cost. A confirmation appears reading “Images generation started successfully” and a placeholder tile labeled Generating shows up in the workspace above. Step 8: Wait for the image to finish The tile fills in as the image renders. Larger quality settings and higher variation counts take longer. You do not need to stay on the page while it works. Step 9: Review your image Once the tile finishes, hover over it to bring up the controls. You get a download icon, a copy icon, and a Use button. Click Use to send the image straight into your next step or project without downloading it first. Step 10: Open the full view for more options Click the image to open the full view. The side panel shows your original prompt and the generation details, including the model, the aspect ratio, and the creation date. From here you can:
  • Click Turn to Video to animate the image
  • Click Recreate to run the same prompt again for a fresh result
  • Click Download to save the file
  • Click the heart icon to save it to your favorites
Tips
  • Square 1:1 is the most flexible size you can pick. One square image works on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and a product page without a single crop.
  • Write prompts the way you would brief a photographer. Name the product, the location, the time of day, and the mood. Vague prompts produce generic images.
  • Run two variations on your first attempt. Comparing two results tells you faster whether your prompt is working than running one image three times.
  • Fill in your Brand DNA before you generate. The generator reads from it, so a complete brand profile produces images that already match your look.
  • Use Recreate rather than retyping when you like the direction but want a different take.
