Here’s how the full process works.

How to Get There

Click “Content Studio” in the left menu, then select “Carousel” from the format options.

Step 1: Select Your Product

The first screen asks “What are we promoting today?” and shows the products saved in your account. Click the product you want to build the carousel around. If you have more products than what’s shown, click “View all products” to see the full list. Click “Continue.” HeyOz automatically pulls images associated with the product you selected. You’ll see them displayed on screen. You can add more by clicking “Add more from library,” which opens your full Media Library. Up to 14 images can be included. Click “Continue” when your selection is ready.

Step 3: Select Dimensions

Choose the aspect ratio for your carousel slides. The available options are: 1:1, 2:3, 3:2, 3:4, 4:3, 4:5, 5:4, 9:16, 16:9, 21:9 Pick based on where you’re posting. 1:1 works for Instagram feed, 9:16 for Stories and TikTok. Click “Continue.” This screen has two things to set before generating. First, choose a carousel goal. The options are:
  • Product Showcase: a visual-first lifestyle sequence.
  • Drive Conversions: a sales-focused structure.
  • Problem/Solution Bridge: an empathy-led narrative that moves from pain point to answer.
  • Feature Deep-Dive: a product education sequence.
  • Product Launch: a hype-building sequence for new releases.
Each goal shapes how the slides are structured and what kind of messaging gets prioritized. Second, choose the number of slides: 5, 6, 7, or 8. The token cost is shown on the “Create Carousel” button and updates based on your selections. When you’re ready, click “Create Carousel.” HeyOz redirects you to My Creations. You’ll see a “Carousel generation started!” notification at the bottom of the screen. The carousel appears in your creations list with a processing status and a progress percentage. Once complete, click the carousel to open the preview panel. The slides are shown individually and you can scroll through them using the arrow indicators (shown as slide count, e.g. 4/5).

Step 6: Edit, Post, or Download

From the preview panel you can: Open Image Editor to adjust text, colors, layouts, and images on individual slides. Open Canvas Editor for more detailed layout changes. Redo Creation to generate a fresh version. Animate Creation to add motion to the slides. Post Now to publish directly to your connected social accounts. Download to save the slides as files. Delete to remove the carousel from your creations.

Tips for Better Results

Choosing the right goal matters more than it might seem. A Product Showcase carousel looks and reads very differently from a Drive Conversions one, even with the same product and images. Spend a moment picking the one that matches what you actually want the audience to do after seeing it. If the first generation doesn’t land quite right, try Redo Creation before changing your settings. The output can vary meaningfully between attempts with the same inputs. Keep your image selection focused. Carousels with too many unrelated images can feel inconsistent. Stick to images that belong together visually. Generated carousels are saved automatically to My Creations and can be reused or edited anytime.
